

ABOUT ME
Fran Simone, Ph.D., is a professor emeritus from Marshall University, South Charleston Campus where she directed the West Virginia Writing Project, a statewide affiliate of the National Writing Project, University of California at Berkeley. Her essays have appeared in The Voice and The Quarterly of the Naional Writing Project, the Charleston Gazette, and Writers Digest. Most recently she is a regular blogger for Psychology Today (online), Hazelden/Betty Ford (Recovery Matters), and Addiction Blog. She has conducted over 100 writing workshops.
Fran is a member of Story Circle Network and The National Association of Memoir Writer (NAWM), and was selected as NAWM's featured writer for January, 2015. Read the article here.
